Hunting with Bear City Bear Hunts

The daily grind

Wake up and make yourself at home, cook up a hearty breakfast and enjoy coffee on the deck. Your guides will be busy preparing bait and fueling up equipment for the day. Guides head out mid morning  to bait  various stands. Hunters usually relax around camp and prepare for the days hunt. Mom cooks a mid day feast, plan to eat for 1pm. Followed by departing to your bait site around 330pm.

POST HARVEST AND PICK UP

You will be dropped off at your established bait site and set up in a tree stand, tower stand or ground blind. Upon a successful hunt, contact your guide by cell phone or via a satellite device. Where our team will pick up you and your harvested trophy than head back to camp or an island on the lake. Where your throphy will be professionally skinned than Frozen for transport. If no bear is harvested that day you will be picked up around 10:30pm

Premium bait, strategic locations

If there’s one things we’ve found over the years, quality bait with a variety of goodies for the bears to pick through pays off! The proof is on the scale, with 400lbs+ bears taken yearly. We run a mix of boat accessible as well as UTV accessible bait sites, some of which have been active since the 1980’s.
